Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

I was once again humbled by my five year old! Taylor included in her prayers last night a little note to God about wanting some snow in the morning. Much to her sheer delight, she woke up this morning to the smallest spattering of snow! It was all I could do to get breakfast in her before she and Aubrey went running out to play in the "snow." If you look real close you can see the faintest traces of it in the grass. I had to smile because she was right about two things: God did answer her very sincere prayer and we all should be so thankful when He does answer our prayers. You would have thought that it was the Denver blizzard of 1982 to see their excitement! Just a simple reminder to their "jaded" mother that God may not answer our prayers exactly as we ask Him to, but He does answer them and He does so in a perfect way!

Don't the Idaho girls have the cutest Arizona cousins??
 Posted by Picasa

Swimming in November??? Only in Phoenix is this even remotely possible. My dad and I took the Polar Bear plunge into the cold waters of their pool (ok it was only 60 degree water, but it felt much colder)! I had a great weekend with my Arizona family, and mom was so surprised to have both her girls to help celebrate her big 50th birthday! The only thing that would have made this weekend any better is if my whole family could have joined me... Posted by Picasa

It should go without saying that Melisa and April married their respective "Tims" for their brains and not their brawns shall we say??

A cute little pumpking, a joyful clown, and who/what is that in the middle? It's Mullet Man! Our girls love him as he is part of the infamous TimLissa (Aubrey speak for Tim and Melisa Fixter) no matter how crazy he can be!

The Harris family all bundled up for the below freezing trick or treating expedition! We were one of the few families out to brave the cold temperatures. That meant only one thing - MORE candy for us (I mean the girls). More than we will ever need! Buddy was such a good sport in his costume. It did make marking every bush on the walk a little challenging. Other great sports that night: our Arkansas Cousins - thanks TIMLISSA for taking part in our Halloween yet again!
