Taylor goes to Kindergarten: Today was the day! WE took our little girl to school. There were some tears (Aubrey and I both cried). Taylor just looked at me and said, "Mom, why are you crying?" I tried to pass it off as something in my eye. Yeah right! She had a great day, and my hope and prayer is that she will always have this same enthusiasm for school. Sigh... she is growing up way too fast. Stay tuned for next week when I take Aubrey to preschool now that could be a whole new set of issues for mom.

Taylor has been looking forward to starting school again since the last day of her preschool class in May. She woke up this morning, came down in her pj's with a backpack on and said, "I'm ready for kindergarten!"

BUDDY UPDATE: For those of you wondering, Buddy has settled in nicely with our family. He is trully a great dog and friend to the girls. Here he is loving on the girls and their cousins.

12 adults to supervise, 11 smiling preschoolers, 10 magic tricks from sparkles the clown, 9 balloons to pop with real darts, 8 whacks at a pinata, 7 fantastic birthday presents, 6 hours of intense fun (ok only 3 but it felt more like 6), made this 5 year old one lucky and blessed young lady very happy! It was quite a party for all those who could attend - the Harris Family notorious for a good time - had guests flying in all the way from Wyoming and Arizona just to catch some of this action. Happy 5th Birthday Taylor!!!

Here we are in Spokane, WA where Taylor and I took Grandma Betty down to Riverfront Park. I have so many fond memories of Spokane in the summer from when I was a young girl it was fun to experience it all again through Taylor's eyes. Grandma Betty was a good sport and rode the carrousel (she shared with us that she did this 60 years ago when she was a teenager) in the 102 degree heat. She's a spry one - that great Grandma Betty!

Taylor and Grace Meyer living it up in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. You have not seen Idaho and all its glory until you have been here. My college roomie and her family have a piece of heaven up there, and Taylor and I loved every minute of our time with them.

For those of you who did not know, Taylor and I just got home from our girls' weekend up north to see our good friends the Meyers. I wanted to do something special with Taylor before she started school, and Jen,Jeff, and Grace Meyer made it really special. We had an awesome time on the "Meyer plantation," and as you can see lived the life of cowgirls for a couple of days. Taylor rode on everything from a donkey, to a tire horse, to a four wheeler!!
